lyrics

False hope arrives. I find myself searching with half-open eyes. "Expect nothing from this. I don't believe in it." I wish I would've listened. Regretting decisions and taking back some moments where I felt a lack of a appreciation. I hope you got what you wanted from all this because I don't think I did. Words make holes. Tensions grows. I felt led on. When we laid down and said I love you. The sparrows wings on your chest gave you flight. I should've seen the signs. What did I expect to find. You are a woman once a bird trying hard to fly back home. Free as a bird but some birds will always fly alone.
